Had the Cajun Turkey Melt and house fries. Both were delicious. Husband had the pizza burger. B CB geese on top not melted quite all the way but was still tasty.

Visited 2/20/ 2024.....Is there a new chef or owner? The quality of the food was sub par....and that is not what we have experience previously. The reuben was not edible.....the crispy chicken salad was bland and the house dressing without flavor.It would be helpful if the walls were wiped down for straying ketchup....etc.Hope this helps to be the hang out spot it once was......

Tough to beat a place that actually cares about service, and makes sure everything you eat and drink is satisfying. The hot beef sandwich special is hard to beat and my boy had chicken strips and tator tots. 10 out of 10 for sure

This used to be one of my favorite stops in Altoona. It should have been a dead give away that the parking lot was a ghost town on a Saturday night. The server was young and nervous - so we were gracious but we found the establishment itself a bit dirty and under kept. My 4 year old daughter poured the cup of crayons out to find a USED dried up dip pouch. My Cajun Turkey melt was sauced so heavily that it was falling apart and not the least bit enjoyable. My daughter's chicken Parm Pasta had a soggy chicken patty. Unfortunately I think our 4 year olds frozen chicken nuggets were the best part. Seemed like quite the wait for an empty restaurant and below average food. Was definitely hoping for a better experience.

I love this place. This is a great neighborhood bar with good food, and good drinks with descent pricing. With my wife who's allergic to gluten, they have been very accommodating with our numerous visits.
We hired Fireside to cater a full Taco Bar for our wedding in September 2023 which had over 175 guests. The food was a huge success, as well as the serving staff; all we heard were great things from our guests! Working with Nolan was an absolute pleasure and we found his pricing to be very reasonable. The Taco Bar had a variety of options including two different types of meats, flour & corn tortillas, a lot of side options, as well as chips & salsa appetizers. If you're looking for a reliable and delicious catering service, we highly recommend Nolan and Fireside for all your catering needs!

Fireside catered for my 300+ wedding in August of 2023. All my guests raved about the food! Nolan is phenomenal to work with and extremely reasonable pricing! We had 3 different meats + many sides. Highly recommend Nolan + Fireside for your catering needs.

It has a nice cozy small town bar feel to it that unfortunately doesn't make up for the lackluster service. 45 minute wait time for soggy nachos and burnt mozzarella sticks. Our server was quick and polite and is the only reason this place gets more than 1 Star.

We visited the Fireside Grill with a party of 7 on Saturday, September 16, 2023. The restaurant was clean and we were promptly greeted by our server. We ordered and our food was delivered hot and tasty. Several of us ordered the giant tenderloin. It was delicious. The owner/manager came out to explain they had gone back to their original vendor for this tenderloin. Our server was attentive and stopped by several times to check if everything was ok. Good food at a good price!
