Ordered the steak fajitas burrito. Only greasy steak with no flavor and onions with no seasoning, no peppers and no tomatoes. Last time I was here it wasn’t very good but I thought it was just me. Nope 👎 it has declined since it opened will not be back!
I'd give them more stars, but they are way too stingy with the queso, bruh.
Not sure if they were just having a bad day but my food was the most bland Mexican I've ever had and I have been eating Mexican for over 50 years.

Absolutely amazing drive thru service, the food is Always top notch at this place, it's become our favorite place to get basically everything on their menu from tacos to quesadillas to their specials and so on!!!!
Amazing experience, food can be a bit expensive tho which is the only downside ... anything over $3.80 is pretty pricey for small street tacos but it's delicious either way...
Kid-friendliness: Great kid friendly place !!

Love this place....if your salsas were on par with "Marias", the quality of your already good food would increase expedentially. Your salsas lack flavor and are far to watery. I'm telling you, go to a local Maria's location, go and taste the difference. Your food is worthy of the improvement.
I highly recommend Gilibertos! The food is always fresh and delicious! You get your moneys worth! Their tacos and quesadillas are the best I have ever had! I love the drive thru. It’s very convenient! If you are ever driving through Altoona I recommend that you stop by! We drive 35 miles to come eat here. It’s so worth it! 😋

One daughter says they're open until 10:00. One door says midnight and it's 8:30. There's people inside and all the doors are locked

There isn't a ton of great mexican to be had around Des Moines but at least as far as Burritos (which are huge!) and Tacos go, this place is wonderful and I've visited many times.
The menu can be a bit overwhelming if you're not familiar with mexican food and the interior isn't the fanciest but the food is always fresh, well made and consistent and the prices are fair and reasonable.
I'm an especially big fan of their Grilled Chicken Fajita Burrito but I also love their shredded chicken tacos with a side of mexican rice. I'll definitely return. (Would like to see calorie estimates on the menu, though!)
