The food was so good. The service was very quick. I mean really quick. The server was very kind a patient with our order. I would highly recommend going to Monterrey Mexican Restaurant in Altoona Iowa. Enjoy.
The food was really good. The salsa was ok so make sure to ask for their spicy salsa, muy bien! The food literally came out so fast I thought it was for another table so A+ for that. The Don Julio Marg was good enough that I ordered a second one. I really enjoyed the servers as they make you feel at home, which is always a plus when out at a restaurant. The only complaint is that someone forgot to sweep under my table and there was a whole tortilla and several ketchup packets...
Absolutely fantastic. Chips and salsa were super good, queso was excellent, main dish was perfectly done, and the staff was super friendly. It was PACKED on a Friday night, and everything was super fast and the staff was hustling and helpful. I'd give it 6 stars if it let me!
