I watched Kenzie make my Venti Decaf Mocha at Starbucks on 3414 8th St Altoona, without her knowing, and I was impressed of her skills and cleanliness. She even rinsed the coffee glass before making my coffee, to make sure it was really decaf. The best coffee I have ever had in Des Moines. Way to go,Kenzie! Can Starbucks clone her, please? Or train the others better?

Love the morning staff, but it's starting to take 20 plus min to get a coffee here in the morning. Afternoon staff has always made the drinks wrong and if there's anyone in front of you expect to wait over 30 minutes. Please do something about your staffing/wait times and inconsistent drinks in the afternoon/evening.

Classic Starbucks! Lots of bench seating and small tables- great for a quick coffee with a friend. Quick service and a tasty cold brew. They conveniently have a drive through! Great place for a quick coffee hit.

Not normally a Star Bucks person, first time stopping in. After having a super frustrating day dealing with life, you know...like the eye twitching kinda day. I walked here from a car service center.. . Staff was super friendly and patient with me. There was no one else inside, I was grateful for the quiet and comfortable seating.
