Fannie and Ryan are so cool! They always have a welcoming smile and the aesthetics are also welcoming with plants and Love all around! Food is AMAZING and BUBBLE TEA is to die for!!! Highly Recommend!

We stopped for a quick lunch and it was amazing. I got fruit tea with boba, Thai popcorn chicken, crab rangoons, and Mongolian beef. All of it was superb! We will be visiting again. I cant wait to dive into my left overs.
1+1 is honestly my favorite restaurant in Ames. When I first moved in my landlord recommended it to me and now I always recommend it to others. I love their Mongolian Beef, but the rare time I get something else I always find it delicious. The restaurant has fantastic vibes and is very cozy inside. The Bobba selection is vast and I love trying new flavors. I have yet to be disappointed. The owner is the nicest person and if you go there enough she'll probably remember your name and greet you as you walk in. Honestly just an amazing place and I couldn't recommend it enough. Everyone I know who's been here just gushes about and it lives up to the hype.

Was in town and had the pleasure of ordering take out. Tried out the sesame and general chicken. Most restaurants never differentiate the two. For once, 1+1 distinctly nailed exactly what I was looking for with each. Great crew and great food!
This resturant seems to primarily market itself as a boba shop, but do NOT underestimate their food. Prices are relatively high and absolutely worth every penny, my usual order of an entree and tea comes to about $23. I don't really have anything negative to say. Great food, great atmosphere, great local business. I will miss this place if/when I move out of Ames.

Love this place! Their Taiwanese popcorn chicken is crisp and juicy and the right amount of seasoning - tasted authentic. Tried their beef noodle soup too and it was delish! Their bubble teas are good - best one in town as far as boba consistency. Their drinks are a little ice heavy. Owner is very sweet. Seating area is limited. Always try to stop when I’m in the area.
Update 1/28: Did a large order for pickup and they got all the entrees and drinks correct! And the food and drinks were a hit! Can’t recommend this place enough
I can’t believe that I haven’t eaten here more often! I knew this place for their boba when they first opened, but I didn’t realize how amazing their food was until today. I got the popcorn chicken (thanks to other good reviews) and the salt & pepper ribs. Both were amazing! My husband got the spicy pork in chili oil and also loved it as a fan of spicy food like that. Can’t wait to keep trying other menu items here now!

It’s the best boba tea place in all of Ames! Lots of options to choose from and all of them are great. I personally haven’t tried the food so I can’t say anything about that. The place is warm and cozy but it can get a little cramped during rush hour.
