Aunt Maude’s is a great place to dine. My fiancée and I came here for the first time and happened to stop by during a special week where they had a tasting menu. We got to talk to the chef, Steve, and he was so wonderful and helpful. The food was fantastic and the tasting menu was very creative and unique. My partner got the burger and he said it was fantastic. Our server, Kayley, was very attentive and helpful.
Highly recommended!

First time visit, in town for work. Was referred by a friend. Turned out to be a great little restaurant. Had the truffle fries, salads, prime rib, friends had carbonara, and tri-tip steak. The pics will speak for themselves. The food and service was great. $266 for 4 people

Our dinner was fantastic! The seafood jambalaya and Main Street chicken are delicious but the star of the meal was the creme brulee.

Love this place
We went for our first time tonight. Everything we had was top notch. One of the best Caesar salads I've ever had, done old school, how it should be. The grilled brie was amazing. My wife had the turkey chili and blackened chicken angel hair, I had the prime rib. Probably the best meal we've had in Ames yet. We will definitely be back!

Two people in our party ordered the steak salad. The salad was terrible. The steak had no seasoning, and whatever the salad was dressed with just tasted like heavy oil with no other flavor. Inedible.
We loved this place when we're in college. It is just as good, almost 50 years later. Best Brandy Alexander I have had in years. Wish we lived closer.

My best dinner in Ames. The prime rib was perfect & the mashed potatoes were the best I’ve ever had, except for grandma’s.

We stopped based off reviews and menu. So happy we did. The place is just dark enough, staff is friendly and the food is delicious! I had the tequila chicken cream pasta. So good!

I am a 35 -year resident of Ames and sad to say that this place has gone downhill. Just walked out after hanging around at the empty hostess stand for 15 minutes with no acknowledgment from anyone. This is supposed to be a high-end place. I get better service at Mcdonald's.

What an enjoyable experience! My husband and I came out to enjoy a date night and Aunt Maude's did not disappoint. From perfectly cooked steak to wonderfully braised pork to oh so gooey bread pudding, Aunt Maude's knocked it out of the park. Thank to Sean, our waiter, for being attentive, charming, and knowledgeable. You made our evening just that much better. We will definitely be back!

Had the Cajin Prime Rib, simply melted in my mouth. Delicious! My favorite place to go in Ames.

Co-worker came here for his 21st anniversary and immediately recommended the place to me. So glad he did as my family is new to the Ames area. This is hands down, one of the best places I’ve been to in a long time. I had the grilled flat iron steak and it was mind blowing good. I will be a repeat customer for that meal alone. I highly recommend this option for anyone that goes. Staff was amazing and friendly from when we first arrived, seated, served, until we left. Desert there was also great! So glad we came here and found our go to spot for a great dinner!
