I really disliked the service and coffee overall there was NOT GOOD. I had a barista LIE to me when she accidentally made me a mocha rather than a hot chocolate and then only made me another one when I pointed it out. Also when I did receive my correct drink she did not mix the syrup leaving a hot water mess and intense syrup on the bottom. Never go if you have taste buds or human decency.

The two employees that we dealt with were extremely rude. We ordered a frappuccino and asked for no whip creme, they still put the whip creme on and when we proceeded to take the whip creme off they said in a rude tone, "If you wanted the whip creme off we could have taken it off back here instead of you making a mess in the cafe." So I said that we were planning on cleaning it up. The next lady proceed to say, "If you didn't want whip creme then you should have asked for NO whip creme." So I said that she did ask for no whip creme, and the lady gave me a nasty look. Overall very unsatisfied with how rude they were to us for no reason.

Good coffee, quick service. They've never messed up an order. A few drinks are overpriced.
Bookends is located inside Parks Library on Iowa State University‘s campus. It is staffed by students and frequented by students and staff of the University. All the food is prepared fresh every day and packaged for grab and go. It’s also a coffee shop so you can get a latte anyway you like it. Very convenient – but gets very busy between classes.

Such peaceful place to realxed in the library. The pastry and snacks are expensive, so you might want to stick with the coffee and realted drinks there. The customer service providers are trained well and are quite friendly.
