We went in at 1040. they close at 11. we were very polite walking in, just the two of us. as we were ordering, trying to get the bogo offer for thanksgiving eve, the lady serving us was very rude and disrespectful. she not only tossed around all the materials and food while creating the bowl, but she disregarded the food items that we selected and told her. she put in the direct opposite of everything we asked for, just trying to make us mad or leave. eventually, when she purposefully added several things that we didn’t ask for or want, and added the exact opposite, we walked out. as we walked out, she said “works for me!”. terrible service and a disrespect to other establishments in ames. chipotle has great food and usually good service. this woman ruined the experience of chipotle for me, and not only disrespected me and my friend, but the entire restaurant chain as a whole. workers like this have no place at a great restaurant like chipotle. GET HER FIRED!

I love Chipotle and this has been a great location. Today I ordered to-go. When I got back to the office, the white rice in my burrito was not cooked. It was not undercooked but rather seemed as though completely uncooked grains were mixed into some cooked rice. I tried to call the store to let them know but talking to a person does not seem to be possible.

Place is either understaffed or undertrained. I put it an online order and waited a good 10 minutes after the estimated time. Took me 10 minutes to get there after placing the order.
The guac was just tossed together, they didn't really cut up much or mash things well. Taste was worse than other Chipotles by far.
Staff seemed annoyed by those waiting for online orders despite it not being that busy on the line.

The quality of food has greatly improved compared to a few months ago.
However, a nice addition to see would be more preparation for influxes of people. A couple of times I have seen there be no more chicken available and a new batch is just getting started on the grill.
If this happens, people that are defaulted for an item like steak should not be charged for the price of steak as there is a large difference in price between chicken and steak.
Don’t order online. Asked for extra and ended up being even less than a normal order. Very disappointed.

I eat here pretty often and the quality of the meat and rice has improved greatly over the last year. Idk if they’re under new management or what but lately the food here has been awesome. Only downside is some afternoons and weekends this place can get really full and the line can be very long.
I definitely think they should consider expanding the store or opening another one in Ames.

My family loves Chipotle; it's our favorite fast-food restaurant because of the great price, quality, flavor, and healthiness. This visit was no exception. The workers were the fastest we have ever seen, and they were incredibly helpful, happy, and polite. They moved with such speed that I'm convinced they're faster than a politician changing their mind. While parking can be a bit tricky, the unique interior is a fun change of pace. The only real downside is that my wallet can't keep up with our cravings. Overall, we absolutely love this place.

Was planning on ordering food. They were out of almost everything I usually put in my bowl. This is ok with me, but when I asked questions about what they did have, because it seemed everything I wanted was gone, I was literally just met with a nasty stare. He literally just kept glancing at me and the food. Which was ironic because he kept saying they were out of foods it looked like they had, so I was asking out of curiosity. I decided not to order and the other person with me completed there order. When we were checking out, he asked the woman working register what time it was and then proceeded to say “only 50 minutes left of this” and rolled his eyes.
