Five starts because they are my favorite Mexican restaurant in town. Fast service, good food and drinks, great prices. El jefe also supports their local community. During the month of November, I saw they were providing free community meals as EBT is cut this month. Many people rely on EBT and will struggle to eat without it. It warms my heart to see a local business support its community. Definitely recommend supporting this business
Stopped in after a recent ISU game since I wanted to try this out for awhile. Parking is plentiful. Seated right away as it wasn't busy when I visited. Service from Bernabe was excellent. LOTS of menu selections available. Food quality was good and the value for the price was excellent.
First time here. Seems like they may have changed their name recently? The place was packed. Service was good. The birria tacos were okay. The sopes toppings were good, but the fried masa base was inedible. The chimichanga filling was all meat and the tortilla shell was not crispy. Decent chips and salsa. Glad we got a booth or could be quite loud. Overall just okay.
