First we were seated on Friday and ignored for 10 min as others recieved service, we left. Today we tried lunch and arrived at 12:55. We were informed that they were only doing togo orders till they closed at 1:30. I'm thinking that this is 2 strikes and I will need to find another restaurant.
We met with friends while in town and we were quickly seated. They have a vast menu and we tried some old favorites and new curiosities (the lemon shrimp was great). Our family was pleased with the experience.

I’ve been going to House of Chen for as long as I can remember! I loved it back when it was in the mall, and even though it’s moved, I still make a point to come back every year — the food is always fresh and delicious. 😋
The atmosphere isn’t quite what it used to be, and they seem a bit short-staffed lately, but the food still comes out hot and in a reasonable time. 🔥 Their hot and sour soup...
