The place mainly caters to the young college students who prefer takeouts/delivery. It has sit-in place also. The food is freshly made and delicious. The owners are also super nice and courteous.
My husband and I ordered the Vegetarian Dinner for 2 to go. We chose a spicy level of 2. Next time we will go with 3 or 4. Everything was very tasty - from the samosas (hot and crispy, delicious filling) to the 3 main dishes - a dal, a paneer dish and a veggie dish (aloo gobi) plus rice (I think it was Basmati). We also ordered raita and mango lassi (exceptionally flavorful and not too sweet). Gulab jamun for dessert is always my favorite - delicate honey rose flavor. More food...
Guys it's Ames, IA. The food is on par with a big city. I'd order from this place if it was there. I'm glad to see it survived the pandemic. Please don't condemn the only place in a 30 mile radius
