Amazing selection of curated teas. Wonderful personable staff. You can purchase loose leaf tea, many tea supplies and they also will prepare tea and tea lattes to take with you or drink there.
Several years ago, I was in town for an event in downtown Ames and started to come down with flu symptoms. I was 8 weeks pregnant and had lost my previous pregnancy after falling ill, so naturally I was terrified of it happening again. I walked out of the venue and right across the street was this little tea shop. I told the girl at the counter what was going on and she pulled out a book (I presume to confirm safety) then poured me a huge cup of echinacea tea. Within two hours...
Love this place! It’s my go-to spot with an amazing atmosphere. The drinks are always consistent and delicious. I usually get the matcha, and it’s perfect every time—unlike other coffee shops where it can be clumpy. I’ve never had that issue here! Highly recommend—worth every penny!
