This is my go-to coffee shop in Ames. The service is always excellent, and they have totally recalibrated my coffee taste. I'm drinking medium and light roasts now because the roasters bring out amazing flavors in the beans!
The coffee was really good! Tasted like quality beans without drowning the coffee out with sugar or milk. I got my usual cortado and also opted for a Con Limon as well. I love the coffee and lemonade combo. It was refreshing with just the appropriate amount of sweetness. It was a nice, clean atmosphere and seems like a great place to meet up!

Great coffee! Their honey processed beans make some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. I’m no longer in town, but I always stop by there to buy a bag when I’m through town. Plus they cycle through art from local artist!
My only complaint is if you don’t get your coffee in a to-go cup, it comes in a cappuccino mug (very wide and shallow) and so it cools off really quick and I always then spill a bit on myself.
