Absolutely blown away by the food here at Mr. Burrito during my visit. It was so good that I ate far more than I normally do, and far more than I definitely should have. I love Mr. Burrito! Hands-down the best burrito in Ames. They are the loveliest family and always so kind to all of their customers. Great food and amazing small business owners. A true staple of the Ames community!
I frequently see police officers and Iowa State professors getting food at Mr. Burrito. A favorite of many students. The restaurant is owned and staffed by a small family from Mexico. They are extremely nice people who serve amazing food in a small, local establishment. You would struggle to find anything more authentic in the midwest.
