I consistently get warm and genuine and highly competent experience .They are always friendly and kind. When my dog, Zumi, is with me, she gets lots of sweet attention. I love the coffee,too I always drive away feeling quite lovely. My two favorite Starbucks in Ames are this one on Grand by the mall and the one on Duff by Best Buys and BAM.

Today was the worst experience I had ever had. The girl who ordered the food had a very bad attitude. She was either unhappy or something else. Even after it was done, she didn't give it to me and deliberately left me waiting there. Later, it was another waiter who gave me that drink! This is the worst experience I've encountered so many times I've been there

I've gone to this starbucks multiple times and always had some kind of issue. Drinks not blended well, food not hot, wrong order...tonight, I got to starbucks at 8:05pm to get a coffee for my wife. (She has to stay up late with our child and do homework.) The employees hid to not serve me and then walked out 5 minutes later at 8:10pm to there cars. Hours say 8:30pm either there's a discrepancy of closing time or they don't like to serve customers.

This location is AMAZING! I love coming here because the people are great at what they do. Nicholas, Cam, Sierra, Josie are fantastic and make you feel like family. I’m treated by name every time I come in and the fact that they know me is so sweet (and might be a sign I have a coffee problem). I worked the coffee shop gig for close to a decade and can honestly say that this location is one of the best around. Keep it up team!
