First of all, I am from Oklahoma and visiting Ames for a day. I saw the reviews of this restaurant and I decided to have lunch. Let me tell you that I order this pork, fish, and beef Szechuan dish every time I have a chance. This is one of the best I have had. I think for the quality and honesty of food they put out this restaurant deserves your attention (of course if you like asian food)
I always get the Hot & Spicy Chicken here and let me tell you, it cannot be beat. I've tried alternatives at other restaurants Ames and every time I do, I end up coming back here and ordering theirs because it is MILES better. Flavor is very strong and the white rice that comes with it is no joke probably the best most fluffiest rice I've ever had. My only problem is that the price point is a little steep ($18 before tip) along with the fact that a lot of the portion...
They were super busy but handled everything so well. While my order was not ready at the pick up time, they were kind and attentive. I will absolutely go again, even on their busiest of days. 10/10 recommend.
