I had a really long day. And was suddenly hit with overwhelming hunger. So I decided to swing through and grab a bite to eat. I was sat at the bar right away since it was just me by myself. Emily was my server/bartender she did a great job of suggesting a few items. Had great food and a cold beer. Additionally Alison, who I think was managing or is a manager. She stopped by to check on everything and to see how things were going. She was very friendly I left feeling much less hungry and very glad that I decided to stop here for dinner. Great experience!

Get the quality steaks or prime rib. We tried one other time and were disappointed but that time we chose kebabs, which were chewy and over cooked, as well as a chicken dish. Just go for steaks and enjoy. This is what they do well. It is busy and it is loud so maybe not a special date night experience. Peanuts are abundant as a table snack so be careful if you are allergic.

We had a really good meal here. Was worried at first because the parking lot was packed - but we were seated right away! Our server was very attentive. Kept our drinks refilled which was wonderful. Steaks were good, burgers were good, had a cactus blossom which was good, We will definitely return

Our server, I believe her name was Bailey, was so kind and attentive! It was super busy with a lunch rush but she still made sure we were topped up on drinks, liked our food, and happy overall.

Usually get great food but ordered on Feb 2nd and my med prime rib was burnt dark brown on one side absolutely ridiculous the cook should have Never been okay with sending this out!! Unfortunately didnt know until I got back home. Will not be going back for awhile.

When we went there for my friends birthday we went there and since we got on the wait list before getting there then we got sat in a booth for 7 people which was a bit small then we got our server and he was very nice got our drinks and our orders then we got the food pretty fast but then one person ordered a steak medium and it was still very rare but the server was nice about it and put it back on the grill then since it was his birthday we had him sit on the saddle and got free ice cream then we left to go bowling it was fun but some things wrong. rolls are always good.

My son & I along with 4 other family members went to Ames, Iowa facility on January 3rd for a meal. The other members had chicken strips, shrimp, pork chops & salads. We had the 12 Oz New York strip steaks. The steaks were extremely grossly, tough & burnt. Couldn't even eat the first two bites. Absolutely the worst steaks ever had at any Road House. The server was good but I would be ashamed to serve that poorly cooked & quality meat. Not sure I will be returning.
Ate glass in the food I ordered. A much bigger piece was taken away by the manager. I Immediately lost all appetite and we were worried to eat anymore. I bit and split glass and could have cut my mouth and ingested glass. The manager apologized and comped the meal but I don’t plan on going back.
