For three years and running, our family has been going on Thanksgiving day for their holiday meal. It’s a great way to enjoy a holiday together and not have to shop, prep, cook, or clean up. The menu items are delicious and we’re thankful for the staff that takes care of us. It’s a fun new tradition. Looking forward to it every year!

Received incorrect order; did not make it right yet charges us for the order. Despite asking for the incorrect order to be removed from the bill, the manager would not. I came to have nice a dinner with my son, left very frustrated and he did not even receive the food he ordered, nor did he eat what was served. I am in the service industry; I know unreasonable requests; our request was more than valid.

If you're excited to pay $17 for a hotel contentintal breakfast, this is the place for you. We went in expecting a nice hotel brunch, what they had instead was the same warmer trays and make-your-own waffle setup that every mid-rate hotel offers. It is what it is, but it's not what you would expect for the price.

Food and price aside, the restaurant was just not very clean. The glasses next to the juice were splattered with something (old milk?) and the rest of the breakfast bar had clearly not been attended to all morning.

Oh and Newsmax on the TV so you can get a good helping of propaganda with your mediocre food.

Was there first time. Nothing to rave about. Had to ask to get water refill after I was about to leave. The person I came with got his coke refilled promptly.
Waitress knew nothing about beer. I asked for a Coors Banquet and she showed me a Shriners Bock and then a Coors light. At least she admitted she knew nothing about alcohol or beer then I had to ask for a glass for my Shriners Bock.
Appetizers were OK pretzels, and cheese. And then the hamburger, the Iowa Stater ( $19 ) oh my God, you called that a hamburger and then you put Cy sauce on it. That was horrible. Next time just do cheese.
The best entertainment is won the Army recruiters came in at least we have something to laugh about. It was dead.
I used to come out there once in a while with everybody from cyclone liquors let me tell you I ain’t missing nothing now and that was in late 80s early 90s

I recently had a big group dinner here and wasn’t informed prior to the event that I could only be in the event room for two hours. Some of the beer can chicken was uncooked.

Server was disinterested and didn't offer drinks refills (not even water). Sandwich was greasy and not tasty. Soup was averagee. Cheesecake was wonderful.

Parking: The issue was that directions given to a parking lot were useless. The route to the lot was closed. No alternate directions were provided.

Kid-friendliness: Not a good fit for kids unless they are very well behaved.

I was planning to find a restaurant in town to grab a bite for breakfast, but the conference I was attending started early so I stepped in, hoping for something quick yet tasty. I explained that I was in a hurry, and I was assured that they could accommodate. Ordered an omelette with all the veggies and meats, which was made fresh but delivered quickly with a smile. Not a big menu, but exceeds many in-house hotel restaurant breakfasts.

We were there for an early supper. We were the only customers. Service was pretty slow. The menu is limited. We ordered the corn dip app. I had the chicken strips and my wife had the chicken wrap. The app was okay. My chicken strips were nothing special. The wrap was good. The price was reasonable. I would like to try the breakfast buffet on the weekend.

Was very excited about the reviews. However, much as I tried to have an open mind, I was sooo let down. Was greeted, waitress was told to take a break, hostess sat at a table in the corner chit chatting for 30 minutes. Could not find the bowls for the normal hotel breakfast(all food normal hotel breakfast) oatmeal, had to use a coffee cup. Bacon was under cook. Eggs and sausage were good. No jelly for my toast and only rice krispies for cereal. Not worth the $$$. Loved the atmosphere, very relaxed and casual, but business at the same time.

At 3 meals at this restaurant this weekend. Started with breakfast then had a lunch and tonight a dinner. The breakfast was good but I was pressed for time and my server did a great job to get me in and out at a reasonable time. Eggs, bacon and sausage, diced potatoes and a muffin. Lunch was pretty good. Pork tenderloin sandwich and a salad. Service was fine. Tonight I had the Iowa Pork Chop with sweet potato and Brussel Sprouts. While it was preparedness different than I expected it was tasty. After trying 3 meals food selections were fine, service good and the price was within the expected range.

We travel for dance competitions, for the last 14 months we’ve had a new edition that travels with us. On the morning of Saturday, April 6th, 2024 we had a great experience, we encountered a server named Erin, who went above and beyond, and was the first person to acknowledge our baby, in the hustle and bustle of todays world. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone.
