Hubby and I stopped in for a late lunch and we tried several different foods. All was excellent and very different than what we are used to eating (American food). Everyone should try them out, if you're local you will be back. We are 3 hours away and I will be coming back. Shortbread is way better than those you get in a tin. My favorite was the pecan praline. Appetizers were delicious too, but scotch egg was fabulous! I'm gonna have to get a recipe for that 😋.

It was just ok I guess. Didn't have great service probably because we just went for drinks and appetizers but couldn't get the waitress attention so only had one drink. Didn't even give us a ticket or tell us the amount before taking our credit card. Cheese curds were amazing though.

The Mucky Duck is a shining independent gem in a sea of chain restaurants. Boasting the best authentic fish and chips you’ll get in Iowa and fantastic pours of good British pub ale, you absolutely can’t go wrong by swinging in for a meal. Do your self a favor and go when owner Marcus Johnson has musical acts on stage for his best in class patio!
