I came here to grab a quick lunch while traveling through Ames. I was looking for something quick and inexpensive, and it met the requirement. There were lots of really fun pastries that I wanted to try, but I settled on a blueberry bagel with cream cheese. The bagel was good; the cream cheese was the best I have ever had. They had several varieties to choose from, but the blueberry cream cheese had real blueberries mixed in, and it was fantastic. I wouldn't normally...
They will take care of you. I had placed an order for a birthday cake for about 50 people for my wife’s 50th birthday. Somehow the order got filed under the wrong date, so when I came in to pick it up and there was no cake, the owner drove in from her home within 15 minutes and decorated a cake to save the day. Glad they made it right, and at a good price. Oh yeah, the cake was delicious.
Ordered a 2 tier red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting to celebrate an anniversary. Nowhere in Ames can you get a cake so cheap with such great quality. It was delicious and adorable.
