Both location of Wasabi keeps claiming they offer the highest-quality food and drinks — but clearly, that’s not true. My friend and I had their food and ended up with diarrhea all night after going home. Every dish tasted just average and ordinary . Thank God I’m moving away by the end of this year, otherwise I’d feel sorry for Ames for having such a terrible Japanese restaurant

normally have an amazing time here… food is usually quick, delicious, and with amazing look. went to have lunch- there was one table that was seated. we waited to be seated for 15 minutes… nobody came to greet us and they never left the kitchen. if it was busy, i would have no problem. we ended up leaving because we couldn’t wait any longer. hopefully this changes- used to love this place.

This is the 5th time we have gone and this will be the last time. We were there for 2 1/2 hours! It took a whole hour just for the server to take our food order. Each time she came to the table and we made a request, it would take 20-30 minutes to get it done. After we ordered our food, we didn’t see her for 30 minutes. She never came to check on us or let us know that the food was taking longer than expected. Other tables that came after us got their food way before we did. And when the food came, mine was cold. We have tried to give this restaurant a chance, we actually really like the food. But the service is beyond horrible. I’d give the service zero stars if I could.
Right when we stepped in it was a GREAT experience! Very clean, amazing staff, everything was perfect. Our waiter Jason was the definition of perfection, professional, and beyond kind. He made sure we had everything we needed, and that everything tasted great. By far the BEST waiter i’ve ever had before. Not only that but it was the best sushi, salad, and rangoons i’ve ever had. I will be coming again. My new favorite restaurant!

We ordered catering for a small party. Due to weather, we had to move it first to a different time and then to a different day. Wasabi was super accommodating. When they delivered they were super friendly, organized, and set up quickly with the warming trays and everything we needed including well labeled sauces etc. We love dining in as well, but they are awesome for catering too!
