I love this place. Every sense my grandma died I have been stuffing my face here with my boy Mahmid. The aroma of this restaurant brings me back r me of the last time I got a good whiff of her at her open casket funeral. I will always be a fan of the bamboo garden and its hard to beat the great taste of their juicy chicken. My stomachs rumbling just thinking about it.

Food was made with a hot sauce that it shouldn't have been. I don't think they believed us. Didn't want to give us new rice or Rangoons. The sauce from the beef broccoli had soaked in to everything! They were very disgusted with the whole thing, and so was I! So much for having Chinese food in anamosa!

This is a tough one to rate because if you order off of the menu, their food is quite good, but their buffet leaves a lot to be desired, in my opinion. My wife would give them 4 stars, but I have to be honest in the reviews coming from me. If I were to review solely off of the menu items and not the buffet, they would be closer to 4 stars overall. Some of the items seem like they may have been pre-packaged and not freshly made, but they cooked them well all the same. For the areas in close proximity to Anamosa (Marion, Mount Vernon), they have some of the better Chinese fare going. The staff is always polite and helpful. In no way am I saying you shouldn't try this place because opinions vary and my opinion is just that, 1 opinion. I would say if you aren't expecting the moon, then you will probably like it. Since my wife likes it a lot, we will continue to dine there, and I just won't be doing the buffet again.
