Stopped by for a quick lunch. Natalie my server was amazing. I had the Ranch burger with poutine Mac and cheese bites ( not a side ) but they were willing to accommodate my request! Locally family owned, even have grandma making pies of which I ordered two of them after seeing pics on FB earlier for pickup tomorrow!! You have to give this place a try.

Started with the Midwest Poutine fries. Excellent gravy and even better fried curds. Can’t believe how good the curds were. Curds! Then had the Rodeo Loin (breaded, the only way) and it was perfect. Too often tenderloin is dry, but this was perfect from the first to the last bite. Wife’s double burger was also epic. I’m so stuffed that there might not be room for breakfast in the morning! Almost forgot, very friendly and attentive staff!

Berry Garage Sale
I will start out by saying this places food is phenomenal! Every time I go there I get something new and it’s always good. I do hate that run out of desert almost every time I go there. That is disappointing but I understand. Now for the worst part about this restaurant. The service is ALWAYS horrible. I mean horrible, the waitress always forget something. First time I went there, we had a party of 6. We all ordered drinks and water and one in our party ordered a Diet Pepsi. It took them 30 minutes to bring her her Pepsi, even after she was reminded 3 times. She would go back behind the waitress station and sit there on her phone. Second time we went it was the same thing waitresses checking on the table once in 30 minutes. Then would look to find her. On her phone.. the last and final time I went there or will ever go there. We sat down at 8:15 on a Saturday. We waited 45 minutes and watched multiple servers pass us without saying a word. We were a group of 3. We finally got one to talk to us and she says, kitchen is closed but you guys can go to the bar and order drinks. Bartenders were great and helped us right away put the attitude of the server and the amount of times she passed us and could’ve told us that. Will never go back which is a shame because the food and atmosphere are both great. Hire some new servers and we’ll see.

Food is 10/10 but the older woman who was my waitress made a lot of weird choices or decisions that really stunted my experience. I can tell she isn't invested in the culture of the restaurant. Also clean the tables sooner or faster. It's a bad look to show up to a ton of empty tables that are dirty and still filled with dishes. Owner or manager sitting on his butt in the corner also not a good look. Food is top notch though.

Great service and food. We both had the Rodeo Loin grilled and a side salad. The salad was baby greens - not iceberg - with shaved parmesan. What a nice plus!! The grilled loans, pulled pork, and topping of slaw was perfectly done. All in an welcoming, spacious atmosphere with a variety of local, crafty goods for sale. It's a great reuse of space and an anchor addition to a revitalized downtown of Anamosa.
