The building is amazing, well preserved. The staff was very friendly and attentive. But the food was really, really good. The owner (4th generation) had to sub for a cook that called off and he made 3 amazing meals!
Everytime we eat here it’s a fantastic experience! The staff has always been good to us and tonight was extra incredible! We met the owner Dirk and had an unexplainable experience with him and the family history of the building! The steak I had was cooked perfectly! My baked potato was so good I could eat it by itself and the corn on the cob was amazing too, good ole Iowa sweet corn! My girlfriend had the wings and they said how they did them and they did not disappoint! So...
