This is my FAVORITE SPOT in Ankeny, and I’m SO HAPPY that Ankeny Cafe is open on Saturdays now!
I was only able to go every so often when they were just Mon-Fri, but now I’m sure I’ll be there almost every Saturday 🤩
I have been going here for over 12 years now and every time I come in there's a warmth that you can feel.
The service, the food, the conversations, this is a community staple of Ankeny!!

Best breakfast in Ankeny. I cherish this spot, complete with a giant U-shaped counter for conversation with neighbors. A true piece of Americana: the local cafe.
