Our new Valentine’s Day tradition is coming to Applebees, we’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get seated and greeted. Our server this time was Jesse. She was sweet, attentive, and welcoming. We got the combo apps, chicken fajita roll up and the big clucken (seasonal) followed by the Carmel apple ice cream dessert. Everything was SO tasty. Fresh and hot, crispy but not burnt and the dessert was melt in your mouth tasty. Big thank you to Applebees and to Jesse for making our Valentine’s Day perfect!

Visited on a Sunday around 1 pm. Food was good. Staff was nice but they understaffed. Wasn't busy but took us 90 minutes to order food, eat, and waited 20 minutes for a check.

We decided to order Applebee's to go. The food came out to the curb right on time and when we got the food home to eat it we found both our dishes were made excellently. This is the 3rd time in past couple months we've eaten Applebee's in Ankeny and every time the food has been delicious. When we did eat in the other two times, we sat at the bar and the bar tender was fantastic as well.

Went to the Ankeny Applebee's today to eat walk in with customers inside the building and not 1 employee anywhere to be found. Stood there for 5 minutes almost didn't sat down by anyone or seen anyone almost turned around and left. It's a Tuesday...wasn't busy took forever to get the food...no reason for bad service! I should never walk in somewhere and have to almost turn around and leave!

They must have been shorthanded last night. The service was slow.But our server she was fantastic got the 6 free boneless wings for the Monday special? And as you can see by the pictures, they were itty bitty the manager did say he would replace them. But why do they serve them to begin with? Knowing they weren't up to standards.
