My sister placed a mobile order at around 9:20pm and I went through the drive through to pick it up. I was very nice to the lady and she told me that it hasn’t print yet and that “they haven’t even started it”. I was fine with that and decided to go inside and order something for myself. Thinking to myself wow she isn’t very friendly. Then I went inside and the younger girl was great and helped with a smile on her face. Anyway I let them know I was going to wait for the mobile order for my sister and sat down. Then the older lady proceeded to tell me that she needed to see an email confirmation. I call my sister and she looks and it now says they cancelled her order. The order was cancelled after I sat down and had ordered my ice cream to eat while I wait. Evidently she just didn’t want to make my online order. Also as I sat there waiting, there were several people that went through the drive thru. The older lady continuously muted herself and talk about how dumb everyone in the drive thru was. I was not the only one that could hear this. Terrible experience from beginning to end.

My 3 daughters were not welcomed in this store. They left feeling embarrassed and disrespected because they took too long picking their ice cream, and using their free birthday coupon. Management was very rude when I called to voice my concerns. I spoke to the owner who said “this was not a dine in location”, yet they have chairs. Very disappointed as they were excited to visit.
This is not a DEI location as my daughters mentioned the worker who belittled them greeted everyone but them.

Not great. I got a gift card there from a coworker, thought I would treat myself after a tiring day. The lady at the counter gave me barely any ice cream. Yes, I may be used to small town shops where you ask for one scoop and they give you so much you can't eat it all, but this was ridiculous. On top of all that, it wasn't that good. Probably using low quality ingredients. Never again.

We heard Baskin-Robbins had a new location open up in Ankeny, so I took the family to go and give it a try. Immediately upon entering, we felt a very unwelcoming vibe. Nobody said hi or greeted us, and when asking for samples we were constantly asked what we wanted to order. Their demeanor came off as if they were in a hurry and very busy, however this was at 9:00 PM and there wasn't a single other customer in the store besides us. We also tried using a mobile coupon, which they were able to scan and verbally told us it went through and worked. I should have double checked before paying, but in the end I realized on the receipt that the coupon never actually went through. I brought this up and the solution was "it's still on your phone, so you can use it next time you come". I eventually reached out to corporate regarding this issue and was told they'd let the store know and get back in contact me. I ended up being ghosted even by corporate themselves and they will no longer reply back.
Absolutely terrible location as well as a terrible business overall. We won't ever be back and we'll make sure to encourage others to avoid Baskin-Robbins.
We love ice cream in our house, so we visit Baskin-Robbins frequently. The Ankeny staff are always so kind, and one staff member recognizes me when I stop in. I got our usuals tonight, and they remembered that I used the drive-thru last time because I had my dog with me. They asked about him and even packaged up a pup cup for him!

Love the ice cream. Service is always good. We got an ice cream cake for a birthday party today. Wasn’t that big of a fan. The frosting kind of tasted like toothpaste. I would rate it a 7 out of 10 for the cake.
