Checked out the Boulder House in Ankeny for the first time and it’s definitely a new favorite.
We started with the cheese curds, which are huge! My boyfriend got the Bloody Mary flight and I had the Trip to the Tropics tea flight. Both were amazing.
We each ordered different burgers and loved them. We sat at the bar and had great service from our bartender Erika. She was awesome.
Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend...

Today was my second time coming to Boulder Tap, as before the food, staff and atmosphere were amazing. However one issue I did have this time around was our server being the bartender. The issue we had is she forgot to check on us, informed us food was made one way only for it to come out another, didn’t receive half the things we ordered because she never rang them into the system I’d guess from her attempting to use memory vs writing anything down.
