We enjoyed the patio and food was pretty good....beef fajita meat was a bit chewy, but had good flavor.....mild salsa

Atmosphere was good the food was actually pretty good when I got it correct the service was downright horrible got the food wrong the first time couldn't get the drinks right I'd just rather order it on doordash from now on instead of going in there

Horrible restaurant and I waited 2 hours for my door dash order and every time I asked how long they said 15 minutes and the food was bad they got my order wrong and they lied to me the lady in the black game over shirt needs to be fired form that establishment

Went there on Mexican holiday. Got their at 4:45 did not get food till 6:15 5 tables got their food before me .the rice was cold beans were cold .my daughter and her friend got a shrimp qusadilla and it had 4 shrimp. Her friend got a chicken one and dry.the service was not good neather like she did not care. And some one else paid for our bill because they walked in after us so they felt bad.i door dash their a lot I will reject all orders coming from because I don't think.its above sub-par food. I am not not that kind of person wish i.wouuld have went somewhere else. Don't go their ....

For a year and a half, we had take out from here once a week, almost every week. The food was okay and the service was very fast. About a month ago, they raised prices on our usual order about 40%. The value just is not there anymore. We will try somewhere else for our weekly carry out in the future.

Stopped by from out of town. Food was very good, vibe was good, very cute exterior. Would eat here again.

Always a great experience at Cancun! Service and everything is top! I decided to give the buffalo chicken wings a shot tonight. Solid flavor, but unfortunately they had WAY too much sauce on them. Otherwise everything else was perfect!

So, they lie..... dishonest. I call and ask about their "special." Asked what exactly it is and the price. Price quoted was off $1 - ok, strike 1. What they included was some cluge of a dish - not what they said. Clarified on the phone which menu item was included. Later, was told that what they actually included was something not even on the menu- intended to be cheap and mislead customers to perceive value. Nachos as clarified on the phone and in the menu are twice the size and include other ingredients than the slop I was served. Strike 2. Well- it worked to get me there. But I don't do future business with liars. Last, I scoured the menu looking to see if there is any mention of an upcharge for credit cards. This upcharge practice ia yet another way some business owners show their loathing of their customers and an intent to nickle and dime. But at least most are honest and disclose this rather than hiding it on the bill after you've paid. Strike 3. Heartfelt story about the owners' path to starting the restaurant online - must be hogwash. Immoral practices and deception should not be rewarded. Not good neighbors; embarrassed they call Ankeny their home.

Food was cold, at 3pm when staff not busy. Ordered Pollo Fundido, which was listed as listed as crispy shell. Shell was soggy, not fried, and side of rice and beans were barely warmed. We have been here twice, so disappointed the second time that we won't be back.

Decided to try a new place since we moved to the north side of Ankeny. After looking at the reviews we decided to bite the bullet and try something new. We ordered the food, once we got home and started eating. We were immediately disappointed. Steak had ZERO flavor, rice and beans were good. (But how can you mess those up) We ended up throwing the food away because it was not good whatsoever. Not sure why this place is highly rated. Glad there are better options in town.
