We’ve been here twice since moving to the area, and both times the food has been amazing! The portion sizes are huge — the burritos are seriously the size of my torso. I’ve seen some people mention that it’s pricey, but with the quality and how much food you get, it’s totally worth it. We love this place!

The wait staff was friendly and attentive. We had the shrimp Diablo and Chipotle chicken. Both were amazing. We loved the free chips and salsa. I highly recommend this restaurant.

It had been about five or six years since we had been to this location.
Went last weekend, Got seated right away.. Took a little bit to get our order taken. Of course they took our drink order first..
Food came out after about 20 minutes and still didn't have drinks.
Had to ask a different wait staff for our drinks

This is NOT true Mexican food the enchilada sauce is just that canned sauce. The meat tasted the way dog food smells. Not impressed at all. The waiters were AMAZING! They’re really nice. The restaurant was really loud. It was a Friday night so maybe that’s to be expected. Either way the food wasn’t good — if you must eat there get the Fajitas they looked and smelled DELICIOUS.

Just spent $80 on 3 people. 3 meals, 2 house plain small margs( pretty much no tequila ) 1 cheese dip. That's crazy!! Food was tasteless. Red sauce tasted like Spaghetti Os. Don't plan on going back. Sad was one of my favorite places in Ankeny ( which has 10 Mexican Restaurants) Don't go here!!

Traveling thru Ankeny, we’re from Texas, so we ❤️ Mexican Food!! Service was great, fast & friendly. My Mexican Pizza very delicious. My husband had the Beef Taco Salad. He said the meat was very flavorful. He ate the whole thing!

The tamales were ancient. They should simply said we don't have any that were made today.
