I started coming here almost everu Saturday. Food is always good, place is clean. Plenty of options. Just what I expect and like at a Chinese buffet

I never ate inside so can’t say much about atmosphere but service is super friendly yet forgetful. Every time I order fried shrimp as my appetizer they either give me shrimp fried rice or nothing at all. Very inconvenient to drive home and back, with a young one, or wait for my full order to be ready instead of it being ready at the initial pick up time. This has happened every time I’ve ordered here. Maybe around 5 to 6 times.

*Edit* I ordered one more time since this review and when I came in for my to go order the guy without asking, double checked if the bag was properly made. Reread my order back to me. Apologized profusely for my prior experience and provided a free appetizer/dessert of the sugar bread rolls. Very friendly workers. ?

Horrible, half the food on the buffet was cold, the most tasteless asain food I have ever had. Restroom was disgusting. Selection of food was horrible, will never eat here again.

Good food, service is on par with a buffet setting. Temperature in the building is usually a bit warm, but not overly hot. Decently busy during lunch time, and the food seems fresh and hot.

$69 for 2 adults and 2 kids who couldn't find anything decent to eat except ice cream. Terrible tasteless food. They must have forgotten the Peanut Butter on the Peanut Butter chicken. The A/C wasn't working when it was 90* outside and the place was sticky and not very clean. Not worth the stop and certainly not worth the money. We'll never go back.

This is the first and last time we will go there. I thought it was new, you know something new to try. Other Chinese Buffet's that I've been at bring you your drinks and your silverware. Here you get your own. Not a big issue, just not what I'm use to for the basic same price. I mean it is a self serve, so no big deal really. The selection of food was basically ample, only one dish with shrimp in it, I'm use to more. But maybe they do more shrimp in the evening??. Quality of food was terrible. On a scale of 1-10, I'd give them a 2. Even though the food is in warming trays, 2 of the dishes I took were cold. I got some macaroni salad and left most of it on my plate as it has no flavor. Added salt and pepper, still no flavor to speak of. 2 dishes I ate were good, those I did enjoy. Service- they did come around and remove your empty plate in a timely manner, but no smiles on their faces. They acted like they hated being there. I guess I can understand that, I hated being there too. There is another buffet on the South side of Des Moines and out in West Des Moines that are far better in quality of food, and the service is friendlier. In my opinion, save your money and don't go there. Take a trip into DSM or WDSM, for Chinese with pretty darn good flavor and great service. I will never go there again. Hopefully they'll close soon, allowing someone else to occupy that space and hopefully serve higher quality of flavorful food.

I will be contacting the Department of Inspections 1st thing tomorrow. This place is going to kill someone. There food is kept at an unsafe temperature, and you can tell they are not following time holds either. When I told them the food was so cold it was unedible, they offered to microwave it. We're talking seafood, rice, chicken, crab ragoons COLD TO TOUCH!! Even the soup was luke warm at best. I will NEVER return here. I wonder how many people end up with a food born illness from this place. And the lemonade is literally cloudy, you can tell they haven't cleaned their pop machine in who knows how long. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE FOR A RESTAURANT.
