Worst experience of my life at a Chipotle. Register was broken so they said we had to order online, but there was no gift card option online which is what I had with me. I asked for help and they said I needed the app to use a gift card. I download the app, remake the family order, and no option for a gift card again. I asked for help again and if there was a manager. They looked around and said “I don’t know? I think they all went home” So I asked what they could do for me since I only had a gift card and they said nothing. I asked if they could just get me 2 burritos as a customer service comp and they said nope. Maybe I’m crazy, but I’m standing in the Chipotle for 20 minutes downloading apps and trying to pay for my families dinner and they couldn’t give me any customer service at all on their part? No manager there at 630pm on a Wednesday? As someone who goes to Chipotle 3-4 days a week for lunch I will be going out of my way to Pancheros from now on.

Highly recommend not ordering online. You'll end up waiting much longer than going through the line, only to end up with the right name on the completely wrong food.

I ordered my food on DoorDash when I got it the rice that they used was like mashed potatoes. That messed up the whole bowl. I did have a ride to take it back so I had to deal with it. Never again will I order from here!!!!!

I won’t ever go back to this location in Ankeny. All of the food looked as though it has been there for days. Then no sauce mild or hot. Then to the fountain drinks and no ice. Turned around to find a place to sit and the place was filthy. They should close for a week, order some fresh ingredients, clean the place up, fix the ice machine and start all over. The manger shouldn’t have a job.

Portion was meh, chicken was dry, taste was good, but paid $15 for a chicken bowl and drink. I won't add this to my regular rotation.

Upon entering today, I noticed the girl who was waiting on me had gloves on and wiping the station she was at with her gloved-hand. Then was going to proceed to make my bowl. I asked her nicely if she could change her gloves. SNARKLY, she responds "do you have food allergies?" I go "no, you were just wiping the counter w your hands and I don't want Cross Contamination." She should not ask customers if they have allergies - is that any of her business?? She rolls her eyes and starts mumbling something to herself. I ordered a SALAD, so I really did not want her dirty gloves touching the lettuce. The employees need to be trained properly (Sanitation, Cross-Contamination and Healthy Food guidelines!!) as well as given a re-fresher on polite customer service.

I went here for the first time today at 3pm, which was surprisinglyvery busy. Appearance wise the place was absolutely terrible. Nothing was stocked, all of the trashes were over flowing, all of the tables were extremely dirty, and the floors looked like they hadn't been cleaned for quite some time. I being a clean freak was slightly worried....

When I got up to place my order, I was greeted with a huge smile. I wish I knew her name, but she was extremely friendly, even though she looked like she wanted to cry and clearly exhausted. I was so impressed with her customer service from start to finish!

Looking back, the kitchen area was surprisingly very clean, even though there was chaos everywhere else. The team was very efficient, food was overall great (chips were stale, but I feel so bad for them I didn't say anything), and prices are good. My daughter and I went to get our drinks and there were no lids stocked. I asked an employee who was busy preparing (i assume) to go orders for some. She looked absolutely panicked! I told her to not worry about it, that i would stock them for her. They all were running around and working so hard!

While I am extremely understanding, I am sure some people are not. I hope management sees this and does something to help their staff. I see a lot of bad reviews on here and unfortunately know too well that you cannot have a successful business without GREAT management. I hope the staff sees this review and knows that I see them. They are doing everything in their power to make people happy!

When eating at the original Chipotle in Denver Colorado, we had the feeling of a great fresh-Mexican meal. We were super excited to see that they are here in Iowa as well. We love the fresh guacamole, salsas, and lime chips. Whether you get a burrito, bowl, or salad… it’s all great!!!
