I love this place! Best bagels in the metro in my opinion. I love how unique the bagel flavor offerings are, and the cream cheeses. The owner is so nice and personable. It’s a true gem! And it is SO affordable!

Dietary restrictions: Great customer service. I had a huge order and it was handed to me 100% accurate! Not a-lot of places pull that off …The staff were quick, efficient and friendly :) have to mention the food is always delicious! I cant get enough of the berry berry bagel bites!! 5 star ⭐️

While in Ankeny a few days ago Pam and I stopped at TJs Bagels/Java Joes and happy we did. My Bagel (shown ) was the Italian in a cheesy jalapeno bagel A nice crispy pickle along with a generous portion of potato chips came with each meal. We ordered two cinnamon bagel bites to go, but were so tasty they never made it out of the parking lot. This was a lucky find, we will for sure be returning with future trips to Ankeny. Really nice, friendly and helpful staff, great coffee and the bagels are to die for, this was a fun stop, a real treat.

Glad that I asked around, as a longtime Ankeny resident strongly recommended TJ's and they were spot on. Easy parking, spacious interior, kind customer service, plenty of bagel options. Dine in or take out. Interior has a lot of space if you're with friends, family, biz, or need to spread out and get some things done. Enjoyed my delicious bagel when I got home.
