If you're craving something sweet, and you love cookies, this place in Ankeny's District is a must visit. I loved my initial visit and will return again soon! Great interior, helpful staff, and a fantastic number of options. I had a Space Brownie, which was an incredible mesh of fudge and M&Ms.

I like cookies and dreams, but it is frustrating at times. They often run out of the seasonal cookies, which I get can happen but it happens a lot. They had a special cookie for ankenyfest that we really wanted to try but they sold out in the morning . . . and then didn't make any more that day. Such a weird way to run a business.
Pros: Delicious cookies. Change flavors each month. Good alternative to Crumbl. Great happy hour deal, 4 cookies for $10.
Cons: Often run out of certain varieties of cookies. Workers often are clueless and can't answer simple questions about the cookies or when more will be made.
Conclusion: While we really enjoy their cookies, we find we don't go as often anymore because we don't know what's going to be in-stock and don't want to waste our time.

They are so, so much better than Crumbl, and I love the fact that they still have a "homemade" feel and taste to them - not processed.

Some of the complaints on here, wow. If you read the instructions, and if you warm up the cookie per the instructions, they are in fact ooey and gooey and wonderful. I am a repeat, return customer, and I absolutely love these cookies. They are so, so much better than Crumbl, and I love the fact that they still have a "homemade" feel and taste to them - not processed. I just placed another online order... :)

I was so excited to try these cookies, but both the customer service and product were unimpressive.Upon entering there was no one to be found in the store. Finally a girl came from the back, said “Hi” and grabbed a box, then waited silently.All the cookies looked dark and over baked, but I thought maybe it was just me because the reviews all seemed so good. We picked out four cookies: Space Brownie, Good Golly Miss Dolly, Puppy Chow, and Peanut Butter.They describe these cookies as “Ooey, gooey” and they were far from it. The Good Golly Miss Dolly was soggy and the other three were hard as a rock. They were either extremely over baked or have been sitting out for days. If you like crunchy cookies these might be your thing, but they are NOT “ooey, gooey” in the slightest. Think Nature Valley crunchy granola bar after sitting out for a week.Unfortunately, we took a bite of each and they went right in the trash. Thank goodness we happened to catch the 4 for $10, but we definitely won’t be back.

We stumbled upon this place, walking back to our car from Hop30. I'd never seen such big cookies before in my life. They had a 4 for 10 deal and chose 4 different cookies, a pecan pie one, a mixed chocolate chip, a chocolate m&m and a puppy chow one. All them very good.
