Initially came for the boba and didn’t care for the donuts. Funny enough, I loved the donut and was unfortunately disappointed with my drink.
I ordered a black milk tea with tapioca pearls and it lacked flavor. The tapioca was not the best quality either.
I decided to get a classic glazed donut (not pictured because it was inhaled immediately). It was easily one of the greatest donuts I’ve had in a very long time. It was so soft and fluffy!
The inside is very cute and clean. I really liked how they have photos of their regulars displayed. There is also a self order kiosk.
I understand that the construction on Ankeny makes entering businesses somewhat difficult, but I think it’d be worth giving them a try! Maybe next time I will try a fruit tea instead.

This is by far my favorite boba shop in the DSM area! I am relatively new to boba so I generally have questions about any boba drink. The staff at Happy Days is by far the kindest and most helpful staff when it comes to questions that I have encountered in the boba realm. Every time I visit, I go away a very happy customer!

The inside of the shop is cute and cozy! Me and my friends love to come and catch up or do Bible study. Every time I’ve gone in to get a drink or donut, they are always super sweet and kind! The boba is fabulous and the donuts are amazing too! They have so many options for toppings to put in the teas (and there are lots of options for the teas)! It’s a great place to try different types of bubble tea!
