First time trying out jimmy johns and the kid in the drive thru that has a bruised eye needs to be removed from that area. Didn’t understand a word he was saying and he didn’t even let me let me talk without interrupting. I even repeated the order of the drink I wanted and he still gave me the wrong drink order.

I went thru the Jimmy John's drive thru at the corner of Ankeny Blvd and SW 2nd street between 11:30am and noon. I placed my order and wasn't told the final price until I reached the window. The price was several dollars more than the advertised price plus tax on the drive thru board. I was told at the window they had price hikes, but did not have the material to make the changes to their menu. I heard that both from the worker and on site manager. I believe you should honor your price you advertise until you make official changes to your menu. Both the worker and on site manager would not match the price on their menu. However, I was offered a free cookie. I declined and left with no food. I contacted corporate customer service about this location charging more than the price they advertise. They person I spoke with is getting the issue escalated to a higher level for investigation. I'm making this post to make those who eat at this location to be mindful of what you are getting charged based upon what they advertise. I hope they get their menu pricing fixed fast.

I have been waiting in the drive through line for over ten minutes and am presently still behind a car. While the car in front of me may have an unreasonable order, there is no circumstance under which it should take this long to complete. Jimmy John’s on Ankeny Blvd is terrible at fulfilling its order in a timely fashion. I will not be returning.

twice now, i have ordered in the drive through and not gotten any meat on my sandwich. i spend like $12-$14 on average. i dont have time to go back and i normally go to jimmy johns because its quick and on my way to things. the employees are normally nice, still i dont know whats going on at this location but its really frustrating.

Ordered two sandwiches in the drive through with one car in front of me. After 15 minutes the car in front of me still didn’t have their order. The car behind me left and then so did I. At that point I also advised another customer pulling up to the drive through to go somewhere else because I had been waiting so long.
I guess they’re no longer freaky fast. I’ve tried to order from them twice now for a lunch delivery. Both times they’ve been half an hour late or more. I’ve ordered early in the day hoping that might make a difference, but no. Jimmy John’s used to be my go to since where I work the lunch time is not flexible. But every time they’re late.

Every time I go this JJ's I tell myself its the last time. - I do not believe the bread is less than four hours old. I went through at 11AM and the bread was hard as a rock. - Staff is very friendly, but there can be 3 cars in line and no customers inside and the wait is 5+ minutes. I've ordered and left without my food numerous times. - I'm about 90% sure I saw employee bringing in food from an old shed in the parking lot. With so many other places in the area, including other JJ's, I'm officially crossing this location off my list of options.
