Nice motorcycle ride into Iowa.. got our order everything hot and fresh ,I'd suggest stopping in if you get a chance , Amish store also part of the experience, lots of fun.

If you want hot food don’t show up when they first open. Haven’t been to Iowa for over a year so was looking forward to eating here. Ordered the Maid Rite and cheese fries. They must’ve made the sandwich first and then spent some time frying the french fries. The meat in the sandwich was barely warm and had no flavor other than the toppings. Unbelievably disappointing. I don’t remember Maid Rites being so bland. They will not be on the list the next time I come to Iowa.

I have been to this location in the past and was happy then, not very much this time. Upon entering the store there were a couple employees sitting around in customer booths one with a friend. There was a cook in kitchen and an order taker that promptly took our orders. We then used the restroom, it was dirty, the floor was sticky everywhere. The diaper changing station was open and would not close there was a dead bug under it. The food was promptly delivered onion ring and fries were good, the loose meat sandwich was dry as if it had been on hold too long. The tables were not cleaned very well and there were a couple tables not cleared from previous customers. The Flys were liking that. The floor was also sticky in dining area although not as bad as restroom. We filled our drink glasses and ketchup cups. Both ketchup containers were nearly empty so they just spit ketchup and made a mess. There was a waste basket on that counter for napkins and straw wrappers, very tacky. We will not return to this location. Date of visit was 8/9/2025 around 4:30 pm.
I haven't eaten at a Maid Rite since the 1980s and now I remember why. I wasn't impressed with the food back then, I wasn't now. I got the family pack for my and my son. The fries were luke warm at best and the sandwiches were blah....
I won't be returnig any time soon.

Walked in with this garbage at a booth. Leaving with the same garbage still on the table. About four dudes working here all on their cellphones. Stood at the counter for a few minutes observing them all in the back glued to their phones, I had to RING THE BELL to ask for a cup. Not cool.
This was my partners first time at a Maid Rite. She won’t be back.

Very friendly clean restaurant bathrooms are clean, spacious booths. Easy parking boot tastes good. Definitely recommend getting a shake decently, affordable prices
