If you want hot food don’t show up when they first open. Haven’t been to Iowa for over a year so was looking forward to eating here. Ordered the Maid Rite and cheese fries. They must’ve made the sandwich first and then spent some time frying the french fries. The meat in the sandwich was barely warm and had no flavor other than the toppings. Unbelievably disappointing. I don’t remember Maid Rites being so bland. They will not be on the list the next time I come to Iowa.
I haven't eaten at a Maid Rite since the 1980s and now I remember why. I wasn't impressed with the food back then, I wasn't now. I got the family pack for my and my son. The fries were luke warm at best and the sandwiches were blah....

The wife spilled her ketchup tube. Had to clean up and there was no trash cans. I guess the employees where supposed to clean up. But there was only 1 employee out front and she was busy taking orders, plus she was real busy. Then it took awhile before we got food. Yhen the order was wrong. I have no complaints about the food.
