Told me 5-10 mins 39 mins later finally got food
Maria’s is so much that I look for an easy taco night. Their salsa bar is perfect and brings the heat. My go to items are the Pasole (delicious), pork tamales and bean tostadas.

Food is always great and consistent however the last few times I have tried to get a breakfast burrito they were not open at 7:30am. The sign on the door states the business opens at 7:30am. This time I waited until after 8 and still no one.

Apparently close when they want to these days, not many options for food when you get off at 2am in Iowa, they used to be open til 3am and looked forward to my Friday night meal each week after a 16 hour day, but they are always closed at 215am now even though Google, and sign on their door says 3am still, even clocked out early one day assuming they closed at 2am now to find them closed at 145am also, update your signage and hours I guess instead of leaving people wondering.

Ordered fried tacos. Very yummy, generous, with plenty of ground beef. The salsa bar had 9 salsas - the two I selected were delicious.

Great food for great prices. 100% authentic Mexican food. Closest thing to tacos from Southern California. I’m from L.A. and I think these are some of the best tacos in Iowa (and I’ve tried a bunch of places trying to find something close to the ones back home)
Love this place. Been going since it opened. Food is consistent, but the other day the person working the register. Without being able to speak English tried hitting on my wife. She is standing with a line behind her at 10pm trying to figure out what he's saying. Finally he types somthing on his phone, and she points to her ring. Now she won't go back. Very sad.

We've eaten here 4-5 times now and the food has been amazing every time. I wanted to put in a review today because I accidently ordered the wrong meal(100% my fault) and when they saw my disappointment that I'd ordered the wrong thing, they just immediately went back to cook me what I did want and i didnt even ask. They didn't have too and I really appreciated it. I gave 4 on atmosphere because the food in the pics on the wall don't look as good as the actual food that comes out. That's still l a compliment.

My favorite spot in Ankeny thus far, a great combination of excellent customer service, superb food, and great pricing. Drive-thru was available, but I craved a breakfast burrito, and this place completely nailed! Noah made me the most delicious bacon and egg burrito with rice and beans inside, and it was spectacular. Highlight is their 12-option salsa bar, and they mark it so well that I sampled 10 of them! Divey and I like it!!!
