i ordered a sprite and it tasted like sparkling water so i asked for a different one nicely and he said the sprite machine is broken??? why would u give me sprite knowing its broken???? so i tried to give it back to him and he wouldn’t take it and i said i dont want this he gt upset snatched it out my hand and said what do u want i said dr pepper he came back no dr pepper😂i said well what’s working and turns out only coke and diet coke i said ok just refund me he slammed the money in my hand and about 3 or 4 cars got their food while i was told to pull up and wait for 4 burritos. mind you we were there first but yet waited over 10 minutes for 4 burritos. mind u they r alr made u just put it in a bag and give it to the customer. i am very disappointed and wont be going here again

The manager at this McDonald's 401 Ankeny boulevard I believe his name is Abraham he's just a young man but he is phenomenal and obviously cares very much about his job and the people that he's serving and he needs to be recognized for this thank you now for more than one time handling issues I have a rose with trying to use the app. He has done so with no frustration and with a smile on his face each time and handled it very quickly and personably this is and will remain my favorite McDonald's and my main McDonald's because of this young man dedication to his job and the fact that he is dedicated to his customers happiness.

Rude, and felt like I was an inconvenience. I came here when they opened for breakfast and the lady who took my order told me she’d have my total at the window. When I pulled up she didn’t even greet me just held her arm out for my payment. Not a hello or thank you or even the total for that matter.. Not a word. Just closed the window. Then when I got to the pick up window she handed me my Diet Coke which I could tell was so watered down it looked like iced tea. It tasted awful. No carbonation or flavor. I threw it out when I got home. She told me to pull up to the drive thru pick up area where I waited 10 mins for hashbrowns. Mind you, I was the only one there. When she brought me my food she just handed it to me. Not a word. Not a thanks for waiting..nothing. I don’t know but customer service goes a long way. I get that it’s early and some people aren’t morning people but to be so rude is unacceptable. Won’t be back.

First when we ordered through drive through it took very long to take our order, the menu wasn’t even on the screen plus we had to repeat what we said many times, and our food we ordered was on the other ordering screen. Then when I got the windows they asked if we were 3 different peoples orders and after we got our food they messed up what I wanted in my cheeseburger and didn’t fill up the fries very much. Overall I do not recommend this location.

This McDonald's is the slowest one I've ever been to! The Doordash order only paid $6.50, but the wait was over 30 minutes at the store. Factor in the drive there and to the customer's home and my gas expense and it's not even minimum wage!

Terrible Experience in every aspect. Rude workers, long waits, forgetting items, having to wait around for 20 -30 minutes just for a worker to come and take care of the individuals in the lobby. It’s not busy the workers are rude and slow. Never coming back. Food was cold too. Worker was digging in fries with bare hands. We told a worker to tell them to not do that and they continued to do so. Gross, unhygienic, poorly ran and even more so poorly managed.

This isn’t the first not so great experience at this McDonald’s. Last time the wait was incredibly long (there was one car in line ahead of me) they clearly had messed up that order and when it came to my turn they gave me my food and it was all cold. I expect it to be at least warm. This time (which was today like 10 minutes ago) the fries weren’t full, we wanted only ketchup and mustard on the burgers but the onions and pickles were on them still, we ordered ahead on the app and it still wasn’t ready when we got there, and they forgot a sandwich.there was only one other car in the drive thru this time as well. I get that it’s snowing and cold and you might not want to be working… but do better.
