I needed to go to urgent care last night. Turns out I have a nasty ear infection and needed to get antibiotics from Hy-Vee's pharmacy. You don't go to McDonald's because they have the best food, good yes, best no. Go because of speed and consistency. Took 20 minutes to get food after ordering, speed is out. Consistency yes, same McDonald's okay food. Definitely no service since you have to do your own figuring out where the items you want are buried in the kiosk. Brand new McDonald's, and this place works more efficiently and more modern than most. Everything is done via the app or the in-house message board. Clean, good parking, lots of seating. Only issue is all the construction on State Street.
