I was really disappointed with my visit. I ordered a variety of tacos and the steak was extremely hard and thick—honestly tough to chew and not enjoyable. I also ordered a plain burrito, but it came loaded with vegetables and other stuff I didn’t ask for. It felt like they didn’t really listen to my order. The service was okay, but the food just didn’t meet expectations. Wouldn’t come back unless things improve.

The new online ordering system is really frustrating.
It charged my card, but the order never went through.
I also didn’t get any discount like before, and now there’s no delivery option either.
This was a bad experience, and I don’t plan to come back. I work near Walmart in Ankeny and used to come here often, but after this, I’ll go to a different restaurant instead.

Seriously one of the most underrated restaurants in Ankeny!!! The food is amazing, the service is wonderful, and I always have plenty of food left over to take home. Prices are very fair and comparable to other Mexican places in town if not cheaper. Me and my boyfriend love to eat here because the atmosphere is so chill and relaxed and we love the food. I hope this helps and you try them out next time your in town you won’t regret you did. ?
