This is a wonderful spot for an out of the box meal! The customer service is phenomenal every single time. The food is fresh made to order and the flavors complement each other in such an unexpected delightful way. This is a very interactive experience in a very unique whimsical environment. This place is always white glove clean. These are hardworking professionals here! The girl working the counter remembered me from last week. I very much enjoyed the small talk with her and I felt special being remembered like that. It’s a little touches like that that mean a lot to me personally can’t say enough good things about this place.
I came here today at 12:10pm and The only person serving was smoking outside in front of the store. First impression: “cigarette smoke smell.” Then, we entered and he didn’t even move to serve us, he continued smoking outside, he didn’t do anything, not even tell us to wait a moment. A customer who was inside was the one who informed us that the one who was smoking was the same one who served and prepared the drinks. We left upset because it was one of the worst services we have ever had, although we didn’t even have that. If you come to consume here, be careful, the person preparing your food may have his hands full of cigarettes.
Took 30 minutes for two of the Korean corn dogs and when we got them they had the wrong name and when we asked to confirm the order was ours she said yes. It was not ours at all.
Everything they offer on the menu is delicious. Fast and friendly service.

When I'm in the mood for something familiar yet a little different I always think of Naughtea. The shop itself is small but it's full of life and character with funny slogans and photos on the walls. The staff are friendly and their Korean Dogs and Boba Tea are hands down some of the best in Des Moines and surrounding area.
I first tried them a few years ago and since then they've only gotten better which is what compelled me to finally leave a review. Their K-Dogs are unexpectedly large, low cost and tasty.
On my first visit I purchased two a mozzarella ones (and I have a huge appetite) and couldn't even finish them so if you're visiting I'd recommend only one full mozzarella one to start, and one beef, or go half and half which I find a lot more palatable and enjoyable.
As far as the options go, I like the S
sweet potato coated 50/50 option with a drizzle of siracha myself but they have a lot of options and variety so you should experiment to find the one that's best for you. Some are a lot more sweeter and some are more savoury, all of them are tasty.
They're also pretty accommodating with their milk teas willing to make small adjustments to ingredients and sugar level which I appreciate.
Overall, for what it is and what it's trying to be I have no real criticisms for Naughtea besides the lack of calorific and nutritional information on the menu which I'd like to see as standard for those that want and need it.

TLDR: best kdogs in Iowa, cheese pull >>, limited seating, maybe vegan soon?
Food: I love the kdogs here because they have a great cheese pull. When you eat it hot, the cheese pull is so cheesy. There's plenty of cheese on the inside, so when you bite into the kdog, there are no gaps of air. There is not a sweet chili sauce, which is unfortunate, but they do offer a variety of other sauce options. While I have tried them, I personally feel that sweet chili sauce mixes the best with the kdogs. My favorite to get is the hot Cheeto (with all cheese, as I am vegetarian). It adds the perfect crunch and flavor, without being too overpowering. It does become quite messy, so I don't recommend eating in a car or walking. They also have the classic kdog styles with potato (and sweet potato), and you can add sugar (for an extra cost), which are all good. It does not top the hot Cheeto one, though. I have ordered the boba here; it's not world shattering or particularly unique in my opinion, but it is still good boba. I would say it is one of the better places in the Ankeny area that has boba. However, I would mostly recommend this place for the kdogs, not boba. They recently added vegan options, but these vegan options are not actually available. Super sad about that because it would be the first place I know to have vegan kdogs, that also include vegan kdogs with fake meat. When asked when the vegan options will return, the answer is unknown.
Service: The service is very nice. It's local and a small business, so the workers are quite friendly (and usually young). They do door dash and take away, so it can be a minute before they help you (despite no one else in line).
Other: There is not too much seating available, a few booths and a handful of small tables (two seaters). When it's busy, I don't recommend trying to get a seat. The walls and decor are cute with signs and fun colors. They also play Kpop music in the background, which is nice to listen to.
Vegetarian options: All of the kdog options can be made with just cheese, which is what I do. This makes all of the eating options available to vegetarians. This would be a great place to go for a party with both vegetarians and not vegetarians. There technically is the possibility for a vegan to come, but the vegan options are not currently available. They also don’t know when they would be available.
Dietary restrictions: The kdogs and boba, from my experience, have been made fresh, so it would be possible to make adjustments to the drinks or ask for allergy changes. However, I do not think it would be very possible to ensure the safety of extreme allergies because of the machinery. It would also be difficult because of the time commitment, especially when there is a significant line. I would recommend going if your dietary restrictions are not severe. In addition, based on the vegan situation, the ability to restrict for dietary restrictions would be limited to their current supplies. Hopefully they get the vegan options back.
Parking: The parking is free in a parking lot that is shared with other companies. When the place is busy, you will not be able to park right in front of Naughtea, but you will still be able to find parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: The interior is very spacious and would be friendly to wheelchair access, when it’s not busy.

The boba is some of the best the Des Moines area has to offer. I had ordered a kdog and drink. My kdog took abput a half hour which was reasonable with the reviews, but my drink took 50 minutes to make. There was a large group that ordered after me, and the server was making the drinks to serve all at once rather than the order they came in. I had two people who ordered after me leave before I did. This was the only flaw about this place that could be easily remedied and streamlined. The atmosphere of the place is honestly adorable and very comfortable. I'll still be coming back.

It's a small place but a great place to eat. The food was great and the drinks are different from what the normal is at other places. Taste great. Would recommend going to try it out.
