This is my goto Panara.

I absolutely love their pick two!
Broccoli cheddar soup, and chicken bacon ranch (minus the bacon, add lettuce and tomato) sandwich, is my current go to!

Sometimes, I just get two meals and bring leftovers home lol

Ordered the rip-off disguised as a bread bowl with soup. The half cup contained within was served cold and I was advised to microwave it. The bread bowl was a 2.99 upgrade with a bullet proof crust which was impossible to eat. Lattes were burnt. Apple chicken salad was fine. Huge disappointment for the cost. There are lots of similar options in Des Moines so avoiding this place should not be a problem.

This location has an open service counter and drivers from third party delivery services, or 'regulars' with sip club will speak with the associates while food is at chest/mouth level waiting to be picked up by other dine-in customers. This should be discouraged, it's gross, I don't want some random guy's spit all over my food.

Overall, Panera isn't what it used to be. Baguettes are smaller. The bread and cheese is sliced thinner, ingredients have changed making the bread taste as mass produced as Subway's. The prices continue to grow to pay for executives lifestyles, no doubt. It's cheaply made soup with bread, food once considered to be eaten by the poor. For a turkey sandwich, the cheese is now cheddar instead of Gouda, and sliced half as thick. The tomato basil bread has only remnants of strussel-like sweet topping on it in part because the bread is sliced half as thick as it once was. And you'd think the lettuce and tomato cost them as much as saffron- the most expensively priced seasoning in the United States.

I cancelled sip club because I found that I wasn't going anymore because of the poor value. Panera leaves me feeling taken advantage of, so now I enjoy Oscar Meyer Smoked Turkey Breast, with regular thickness bread, and soup that is more reasonably priced... It comes from a can, something that holds freshness longer than the plastic bags the soup is delivered in and warmed. 😄 .... Your greed will be the end of you.

There was a HAIR in my tomato soup! I took it back to the lady behind the food counter and told her. She was not nice. She acted "put out" & asked me if I wanted another bowl of soup. I said Yes! She was harsh & snippy about it! Didn't apologize for it or offer a discount or free for that matter! She needs to learn about good customer service ?

Have gone to this store about 3-4 times now and every single time, without fail, I've had to wait over an hour for food!! I’m very disappointed with the service at this store, employees are VERYYY slow. Will not be returning :)

The food was ok but $20 for a SMALL mac & cheese, half a sandwich, a bag of chips and 2 drinks seems a bit high

I had the Half Chicken Bacon Rancher with a bowl of Bacon Mac and Cheese. It was absolutely delicious, especially the bread on the sandwich. But even the mac and cheese was good, which surprised me, considering how picky I am when it comes to mac & cheese, there are very few that I tend to like. My only regret was not ordering a bowl to go.
