Ankeny has opened a new Indian restaurant that promises an authentic Indian dining experience. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with warm, inviting aromas and an ambiance that balances modern decor with traditional Indian elements. Paneer 65, Chicken Pakora, and Apollo Shrimp are absolute standouts. Biryanis are rich in flavor and absolutely delicious and Gulab jamun hits the perfect level of sweetness.
We had a fantastic dinner at Red Chillez Indian Cuisine in Ankeny, IA! We ordered the chicken tikka masala and butter chicken with butter naan, and everything was absolutely delicious. The sauces were perfectly creamy with just the right amount of medium spice, and the naan was incredibly soft and fresh.
The service was top-notch—very friendly staff who made us feel welcome, and they even surprised us with a free mango lassi custard at the end of our meal!...

Phenomenal service and the food was excellent! My wife and I eat Indian food often and try new restaurants wherever we go! Red Chillez Indian Cuisine is definitely worth giving a try! We were impressed and think you will be too!
