Had a nice stop at the Starbucks located inside the north Hy-Vee location on Ankeny Boulevard in Ankeny. Kylie was my Barista, and I ordered a medium Hazlenut Latte. It was made to perfection, and I went about my shopping. Good job Kylie!And here I am finishing up to a terrific road song.

Employee argued about the type of egg insisting that the eggs were the same and did not state that they did not have access to confirm or deny that it was different. I was trying to find out if any other breakfast sandwiches had the same type (scrambled patty) as the sausage sandwich which they were out of. The shift leader was equally as ignorant. Please train your employees better. Customer service should be important. Went to another Starbucks without issue. N. Ankeny Blvd in Ankeny fails!

I've reviewed the Starbucks before and given a 5 star. I still love the coffee, the staff is always friendly, fast and accurate and a great place for coffee. I'm still going to come here. Giving a 4 star today because of their new online ordering process. I usually order online to avoid the line, but now they changed the online ordering procedure. Now after you place your order, you need to close the app, and open it again for your order to go through. I don't understand why a one step process that worked really well needed to be made a 2 step process? When I got to the store and saw the sign indicating I needed to open the app again for it to go through, I didn't see anything on my screen that was different or that it was then sent. The online procedure looked the same, just needed to open and close again. I don't see an advantage for anyone with this new way of ordering.

Starbucks on Ankeny Blvd is hit and miss. Today, my drink came out not full, with cream dripping down the side, they had scooped whip cream out of the top since I ordered without cream, asked for an extra scoop of Matcha green tea but my drink was very light green, indicating that was not done. So my drink was tasteless. I brought them back and got a refund.
