The register would not read my gift card. The kid did not care, and refused to type in the gift card number! Poor customer service. Since they refused to type in my gift card, I left the sandwich on the counter with the employee and walked out. I’ve never had a retailer refuse to honor a gift card when the register struggled to read it. I visited this location often, but won’t be back.

This store never has enough cookies in the evening time. Anytime I do an online order they do not give me the cookies I ordered because they are out. This is literally an issue every time I order from here. You need to make more cookies or make it unavailable to order in the app.

I had the absolute pleasure of being helped by Tim at the Subway in Ankeny today. He was working all by himself and still managed to serve everyone with such grace and ease even though his help arrived pretty late. Despite the rush, Tim kept a positive attitude, made great conversation, and was genuinely one of the kindest people I’ve come across in customer service.
I sat down and ate while watching him work, and he never once seemed stressed or overwhelmed. He was polite, efficient, and kept everything running smoothly without missing a beat. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and he’s just the kindest person. Tim truly went above and beyond, and he absolutely deserves a raise and some serious recognition!
If you’re ever in Ankeny, do yourself a favor and stop by this Subway you’ll be glad you did. Huge thank you to Tim for making my experience such a pleasant one! 🤍

I’ve had the same subway order since about a decade, and this is by far the worst it has ever been made. Both mine and my partner’s sandwiches were over toasted to the point that they were crispy and fill-ins weren’t placed well, overall making it just unpleasant to eat.

i love coming in when morgan is working. she is always so helpful and the first and only one to come out and take my order. plus the store is always extra clean when she’s there.
