Overall great food! A bit stressful if your unfamiliar with Mediterranean food because it's kinda like subway where you build your own food. Seating indoors and outdoors. Not great seating options for large groups. I have to dock one star because my 82 year old grandmother was confused and wanted banana peppers in her bowl but they told her it would be extra. (It was a kids meal) she didn't like her food as a result and I felt like the service could have been better...
Hello all my celiac and gluten free friends. Today I tried garbanzo in Ankeney iowa . I called ahead of time and they seem very knowledgeable about celiac and gluten free. When I went they gentleman asked if I have celiac disease I said yes and he told me everything is gluten free except some of the items. I wanted to try the gf pita for next time . Super great place definitely going again :)
We have used this restaurant for catering many times for various group sizes, and the service is always incredible. They are always on time, the order is always accurate, the food is always prepared well and tastes great. I love using them because the menu covers a wide range of allergy needs, and groups always enjoy it! Highly recommend Garbanzo!
