This review loses two stars from me because, 1. There is no changing pad in the restroom, and I had to change my baby in the car. 2. Their birthday masks that they have you wear during their celebration are controversial to say the least.

Incredible food, friendly service. Went with a group for a birthday (my first time ever going to a place where they cook in front of you like this). The wait staff did an excellent job of wishing my 16 yo a happy birthday! Watching the chef cook our food was a great experience. They bring everyone at the table to life. I havent laughed so hard in a long time. Highly recommend going here! We did make reservations considering the special occasion and 8+ people, but I only made them a few hours ahead of time.

I have been here several times and have always been addressed and seated quickly. Drinks and appetizers arrived promptly. Our server Vicky, was very personable and attentive. She proactively brought the food for our children out before, the entrees for me and my wife. As our entree (the love boat) can take a little longer to prepare. Which was greatly appreciated. The udon noodles were well flavored and the texture was perfect. The love boat (sushi and sashimi) showcased an excellent selection of fish for a western palate, as well as the inclusion of a choice few more adventurous options. The sashimi was well cut, not absolutely perfect, but well sliced. The combination of good quality food at a reasonable price, combined with unreasonably good service lead to create a memorable and highly satisfying experience.

We were so disappointed..there was a long black hair in my son’s Yum Yum sauce. We were completely grossed out and couldn’t eat it after that. Definitely ruined our meal and made us lose our appetite.
We had a lovely birthday dinner for my girl. Just 3 of us, so we joined a group of 4 having a birthday dinner as well. Very fun engaging chef! Delicious food. Scallops and shrimp for birthday girl. Salmon and chicken for the boys, Salmon was excellent.

I just left there.. if I could give a zero star review I 100% would. The rice wasn’t fresh, it was clumpy and stuck together, it had zero flavor. The shrimp were well overcooked and hard to bite/cut through. The chicken was also flavorless and had a rubber like texture. When I told the owner he refused to take the food back and refused to take it off or give a discount. Since I paid full price I took the food with me and threw it away. The owner and the waiter we had were both very disrespectful, the owner said “no it’s your food you have to take it”. Kept repeating disrespectful remarks and one seemed very colorist. I wouldn’t feed this to an animal honestly. I should’ve known when the place was empty not to give it a try. Very terrible first experience.

Tonight we ordered to-go but usually eat in the restaurant. When we got home we took our food out of the bag and to our suprise, the Little Tokyo roll we ordered was 1/3 of the size it typically is in restaurant. I got a sushi roll and salad as a meal expecting it's normal size only to be disappointed by a snack sized roll. Definitely won't be going back for sushi anytime soon. Which is sad because typically it's great.
