Every time I placed it to go order. I ask for extra Yum Yum sauce, and every single time I only receive one little cup filled halfway with Yum Yum sauce. Honestly, the food is really bland if you don’t smother it in that sauce…

Delicious! Clean place, great food and service. It's a little pricey, but we'll worth it. My husband and I both had the steak and shrimp hibachi. And we both ordered a log of sushi.

Dismissive service. Tea was microwaved water with no tea. Soup contained half a mushroom and one piece of scallion. Salad consisted of iceberg lettuce with one half tomato butt... the Hibachi grill for two was tasteless, rubbery simply inedible.

We made a reservation, but that didn't seem to matter as we still waited nearly 40 minutes for our seats. The hibachi and sushi we ordered was very good or at least tasted really good because of the wait.

Seems that they are cutting corners on everything. Hot tea is microwaved diluted a good few times water. Service is Marginal. We were hoping to have our anniversary dinner there.... I'm extremely disappointed... hibachi meats are tough and tasteless ..

Very rude server, very rushed. She informed us we needed to hurry up while looking at the menu. They were closing early. We were not aware of this until after we ordered drinks. There was no note on the door, nothing posted on the website, nothing mentioned to us when we were seated. It was around 7:00 p.m. and they listed 10:00 closing time. She told us they were closing for Chinese New Year, and she wasn't working late on a holiday.We celebrate Lunar New Year. I support people spending time with friends and family and having time off for holidays. Business closures should be clearly communicated, though. I also think everyone is worthy of respect. Business owners, staff, as well as customers should be respectful to each other.The food was good, and the man preparing it was wonderful.The whole place needs a good cleaning and some updating.
They told me to “take it in a to-go box to feed my petsl”but my pets wouldn’t even eat this.If I could give zeros stars I would. Every single item I ordered that was not sea food- horrible.Could not get an exchange- could not get a refund.They gave me half of my total bill - $53.00 to $40.00.Drinks are great though.

Came here with family visiting from out of state and I’m so embarrassed that I picked this place when I could’ve gotten better food and service at McDonald’s. Waitress was rude, chef was mediocre, and our chicken hibachi was so bland.

My absolute FAVORITE place to get sushi in Ankeny. Never disappointed with the food. Habachi here is an experience and would recommend trying it at least once! The staff can be hard to understand sometimes. Try their fried rice!!
